Service Description

Sept 15 - Dec 15 Fridays 12 pm (*No class Nov 17 , Nov 24) 12 weeks All levels  - gentle + meditation. Replays available If you miss a live class you may take any other live class that week! ______________ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This course fee is per household under one roof, so bring your family! There are full and partial scholarships available . First Responders + families,  BIPoC , under represented communities, and Veterans/Active duty. Please email aarti to apply: Classes are for all levels. Familiarity with classical yoga is helpful but not necessary. If you are new, please email me, for a complimentary 20-minute session to familiarize yourself with the basics. The listed class fees are in USD and the paypal link can be used for payment. For my Canadian friends, reach out to me if you prefer to pay in CAD via interact e-transfer. * This is a 12 week session with some dates cancelled for holidays. Some live class dates may change.   WHEN YOU JOIN ZOOM: Use your name and pronouns  so Aarti can address you personally.   Keeping your camera on is optional, though Aarti recommends having your camera on during class. If you wish to be instructed personally, place your camera in full view so that Aarti can give you options for practice.  If your camera is off, Aarti cannot assist you and offer options to you for the class and cannot know how you are progressing in your practice. Keeping your camera off is ok for those with an established practice or have been in Aarti's in-person classes and are very comfortable with Sivananda yoga. Switch to speaker view at the top of the class so you can see Aarti clearly and place your mic on mute. Recordings will only show Aarti. Recordings will not show the class. Classes will be recorded. Registering for the class gives your consent to be recorded. Recordings will be made available for you to practice in between classes or if you miss a class for the session. Recordings may be used by Aarti for instructional purposes outside of the session.  If you have any questions during class, please write in the chat box or stay after class. Like all classes that are physical, there is risk associated with yoga asana.  The rule of thumb is to "listen to your body" and adapt poses to make them accessible. Avoid all movements or shapes that cause pain or harm. Always seek your doctor's permission before enrolling  if you have any concerns and talk to Aarti about
