March 30 - May 25 | 9 Weeks Mondays 10:30 am est 60 minutes *NEW THIS SESSION* Holiday Mondays in USA and Canada will have make ups on the following TUESDAYS: No class on Mon April 6, Mon May 18, Mon May 25 Instead class is Tues April 7, Tues May 19, Tues May 26 All levels - Sivananda open class - replays and live class options ______________ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: ✔ This course fee is per household living under one roof, so bring your housemates/ family! ✔ Make up classes in case of teacher illness / absence will be held on Tuesdays at 10:30 and be recorded. ✔ There are partial scholarships available . Please email aarti to apply: aarti@healingyoga.ca ✔ Classes are for all levels. Familiarity with classical yoga is helpful but not necessary. If you are new, please email me, aarti@healingyoga.ca for a complimentary session to familiarize yourself with the basics. ✔ The listed class fees are in USD and the paypal link can be used for payment. For my Canadian friends, reach out to me (before you register) if you prefer to pay in CAD via interact e-transfer. WHEN YOU JOIN ZOOM: ✔ Use your name and pronouns so Aarti can address you personally. ✔ Keeping your camera on is optional. If you wish to be instructed personally, place yourself on your mat horizontally in front of the camera in full view so that Aarti can give you options for practice. If your camera is off, Aarti cannot assist you and offer options to you for the class. Keeping your camera off is best for those with an established practice or have been in Aarti's in-person classes and are very comfortable with Sivananda yoga. ✔ Switch to speaker view at the top of the class so you can see Aarti clearly and place your mic on mute. ✔ Classes will be recorded. Registering for the class gives your consent to be recorded. Recordings will be made available for you to practice in between classes or if you miss a class for the session. ✔ If you have any questions during class, please write in the chat box. ✔ Like all classes that are physical, there is risk associated with yoga asana. The rule of thumb is to "listen to your body" and adapt poses to make them accessible. Avoid all movements or shapes that cause pain or harm. Always seek your doctor's permission before enrolling if you have any concerns and talk to Aarti about your specific needs. All asana can be modified! There is no one size fits all when it comes to yoga.
